Pool Band

I think I read on this forum or another one that there is no steel band on the Radiance. Is this true? We are booked to the Southern Caribbean on April 5, and while it is a minor matter to be sure, I always thought they added so much to the cruising atmosphere. Can anyone shed light? Anyone else booked on this date?

I'd be very suprised to find that there is no band onboard, especially in the Caribbean. I would be very disappointed if there isn't We set sail on Radiance on 2-22-03 so will post as to if there is or not, there just better be!

I would be disappointed, also. I just love the band. I think that since I posted this message, I've seen other posts to indicate that there is a band, so maybe the person who wrote about missing the pool band on the Radiance was on something other than a Caribbean cruise. Alaska, maybe? Be sure to let us know, Donna. I wish I were going as soon as you are. I don't know if I can wait 2 1/2 more months.

I do know that while cruising in Alaska on Infinity there was not a pool band, so may-be thats why the poster said there wasn't, because it was an Alaska cruise, could be??
