Default Visas necessary? Please help

We are going on Legend of the Seas soon from Auckland to Hawaii. We have our passports, but are unsure if we need special visas for New Zealand or Tahiti, Morrea or Bora Bora. Does anybody know? Thanks for your help.

Mark... ask your t/a to check for you. The cruise line will give him/her definitive information. It depends on what Country's passport you are holding, for one. I wouldn't depend on "the boards" for this kind of information.

Thanks for the info. We are holding U.S. Passports, we just want to be sure we have all we need.

We are on a RCI - LOS 2-16-03 cruise Aus/NZ & had the same question. RCI said to contact the airline for tourist visas (ETA). Called Qantas - got geat help - confirmation of processing, etc - easy, fast. And - best of all - FREE!! Our TA told us to contact ZIR VISA SERVICE to do these Visas...WRONG!! And, it would have cost $182.00 for two people. Really glad I made the RCI call. Try it - have your passport info, etc., ready. Excellent electronic process. FJG.

Absolutely correct! We just did Australia/New Zealand this year and this service is done by the airline for FREE. It is merely an electronic record check to make sure you are not an "undesirable. I think the cruise lines need to make this clear so we wouldn't have to stumble around about it. I almost spent money needlessly too until "UAL" straightened me out. Last thing, if we hadn't called in advance, they would have done it at the airport for us too (don't know why I asked, but I did).
