Do others of you find you sleep alot on the cruise, mainly the first day or so. My girlfriend and I sailed Voyager in Sept. We sleep so much. Seems like everytime the ship would move out lights would go out. Do others of you do this, or were we just over worked?
Can't say I sleep alot on cruises. I do, however, find myself going to bed earlier due to getting up earlier when in port. I do most of my sleeping when I get home...don't want to miss a thing on the cruise.
I find it really easy to sleep on the ship, and I think I sleep more deeply. I always attributed it to the slight rocking motion--almost like being in a cradle. Love it.
But with regard to the first night, with the muster drill etc, I rarely get a nap in the first day,so I would say it is the one night I sleep the most.
I sleep pretty good too on ships, but I think a lot of that is due to the fact that we are outside most of the day and all that fresh air just does me in. We usually start the day fairly early, so by 10/11PM we're ready to sleep.
