My husband and I are planning to cruise to Alaska July 5th on Radiance for our anniversary. Our TA is holding an E3 guarantee for us. It looks like these cabins are directly above such fun things as the video arcade and lounges so I assume they could be noisy. We can live with that (nothing can be as bad as our next door neighbors here at home!) but before we make our booking I was wondering if there is anything particularly scary about these cabins that we should know about (obstructed views, etc.). Does anyone happen to know how big the balconies are on these?
This will be our first cruise--I'm so excited! :-D
Atiya: It looks to me like the E3's are all on Deck 7 and all have balconies. I don't think any of the public areas will be a concern to you. E3's are categorized as "Superior Ocean View Staterooms". They are nice size cabins with sitting areas. Go ro Royal Caribbean's website to see this type cabin. They will also show you the sq. ft. of each.
You will love Radiance. I've recently returned from Brilliance and it was AWESOME.

Thanks for the advice! We are now booked. I can't wait to get our documentation, since it just doesn't seem real yet! Plus, I think I've memorized every word in the brochure and the Frommer's guidebook by now.... :-)
Hm, will my counter thingy work?
