hb mom - those are great prices. I thought I did good booking in March with a Z guarentee for $649 per person. Combined with our air purchased separately the total per person is around $1000 - great price for Alaska. We also sail on the vision in July which is peak season.
We paid $1200 for an outside cabin for 2 of us last Sept. on the Vision to Alaska. But this did not include our airfare from Sacramento to Vancouver. We were in a group, so got a better deal that way.
Just booked 4 persons in Category N on the Explorer of the seas September 27.
Paid $539 for 1st and 2nd. $286 for 3rd and 4th. This is the lowest I've seen for this date
Not such a good deal when I compare to the $430 PP I paid on the grand Princess in Feb. That was a steal
Andrew
I just paid $1768 all taxes included for four persons on the Explorer of the Seas. The internet deal vary greatly from site to site so you need to do some serious searching. I haven't booked twice with ethe same site. Try ***Travel Agency name deleted**
People, people, people...You CANNOT make referance to specific agencies and how good of a deal you got through them. It is a violation of the TOS as it amounts to recommendation and advertising. If we allowed it the message boards would be taken over by agents telling everyone what they have to offer or pretending to be satisfied customers. You can name what your lowest price was etc, but PLEASE do not refer to agencies name as that part will be deleted. Thanks for your understanding.

Lowest we have done, 7 day on CCL Triumph inside cat 4e for $249pp with 3rd for $149 and that includes all charges. Can't stay at the local no-tell motel for that price! <G>

We are booked on the Vision of the SEas, departing 7/20/03, at 620.00 per person, roundtrip vancounver/alaska cruise. Does not include air but includes taxes/port charges and travel insurance. Thought it was pretty decent. About two years ago my DH and I booked Celebrity Infinity on a 10 day repo trip in Sept (the week after 9/11 of all things) for 1400.00 per person, including air out of philly and insurance. We thought that was pretty good too!
excuse me, I was not trying to find an agency called "agency name deleted" I figured that out. That's why I asked someone to please EMAIL me the real name!
I just received email from Carnival for $299 on the Jubilee 11/1/03. That's an awesome price. I think you have to book directly through Carnival though.
$447 on seven day Nordic empress, then subtract $150 for Crown and Anchor coupon and $100 gift card for local department store when final payment is made.
We did a last minute cruise several years ago. We booked two days prior to departure. We were already in Miami area. All our documents were waiting for us at the pier. It was a 7day western caribbean for $300 total.
I hope to plan a trip in July 2004. Could you please give me advise on where you booked your cruise and any other helpful advise. We hope to go with my children and my mother-inlaw in celebration of her 80th birthday... Thanks so much...
Carol Krashen- One of the best things you can do to compare prices is to visit Royal Caribbeans website and select Find a Cruise. You then get to choose what month and year and region. From there just start comparing ship by ship for the price you might be looking for. RCI doesn't have a bad ship so anything you choose would be great.
Please give me some addresses of some of these agencies where you are getting such bargains. I would very much like to compare. We have gone on six Cruises so far on three different Cruise Lines and always try to book at least a year in advance. But, I don't feel that we are getting any real bargains. Always afraid to wait until last minute as then I might be stuck with least desirable rooms. Help!
$740.00 PP cat DB balcony on Navigator for 9/27/03 sailing. I can't wait! Our first balcony and our first Mega Ship!
