First off, I want to thank everyone for the great information I've gotten from reading these boards. I'm going on my first cruise (my honeymoon) on August 17th, Rhapsody of the Seas. I have a couple of food questions--how formal is formal for the dining room? Suit and tie okay for the brand new husband? A long dress( not sundress) okay for me?
Also, someone posted the entire menu from the Enchantment of the Seas on here (THANK YOU!!). Can I expect a similar level of food on the Rhapsody? Of course, menus change and I probably won't be getting the exact menus they had...but will it be that 'kind' of food?
We cruised Rhapsody a few years ago and loved it. Yes, Formal nights are just that, formal, dark suit or tux for the new husband and a long dress will be fine, also cocktail dresses work out well too. I think you will be very happy with the food/service and entertainment, enjoy and congrats on the upcoming wedding/honeymoon!
I'm glad you found CruiseMates....welcome! And what a great way to begin your married life together. Be prepared...you will be addicted to cruising. I agree with Donna.....dark suit is fine for your hubby and a long dress or short cocktail dress if fine for you. Have a wonderful time.

Becky, my family cruises every summer (obviously we love it) and last June we were on the Rhapsody. We liked it so well my sister-in-law and I are doing it again this June.
The Rhapsody is a beautiful ship with very good entertainment and food. About your dress, you will find on formal nights women in long simple dresses and VERY formal dresses. Dark suit is perfectly alright for you husband. Have a wonderful trip.
