Default any changes back to normal?

Has RCCL taken back any of thier changes? Last time we
cruised, we had to pay extra to take a bottle back to our cabin.
Does soft drinks cost at the diningroom table? Is there a site
we can go to to check on these questions? Thanks, M & K Joliet

Hi Mike & Kathy,
We cruised on Radiance a few months ago and yes, those changes were still in effect, looks like the way it will be now.

What ship will you be cruising on?

Donna, the reason we asked is because a few friends have cruised in the
past few weeks., and they said the ship was more open to bottles in the rooms
and did not charge a fee for that. Also bringing on bottles to take home.
Maybe they change be the cruise. We are looking to book on the Brilliance just to
enjoy the ship. Thanks Mike & Kathy Joliet

We just got off the Brillance, and there was a charge to take a bottle - purchased in their liquor store - back to your room. Also, if you bought liquor on any of the islands, they took the liquor and returned it to your room on the last day of the cruise. They didn't take any sodas or 6 packs of beer, though, but they were taking bottles of liquor. You have to put everything thru the x-ray machines as you reboard from the ports, so there is no chance of smuggling this stuff without them seeing it. Go on the Brilliance anyway - she is a beautiful ship - we've been on her twice already and have a 3rd trip booked!

Stick to the don't ask don't tell philosophy...just pack it in your checked luggage and they don't say a word. We did it last October and no one said a word.

Mike & Kathy,

If you go to royalcaribbean.com they have a FAQ section that answers almost every question one might have. Very imformative.
