Our return flt from Miami was cancelled!!!

Miles one contacted me. UGH!!!!! She later called back and got us on a 750 PM flight.
I have never been to Miami, let alone a cruise. What can we do for the day? ( we have 2 kids with us) Is there any place for American Airline luggage @ the port?
We are cruisin' on the Navigator 2/14/04

Hi Suzz,
You can probibaly do an post excursion in Miami. Once you are onboard they will tell you about those, the tours will end at the airport, but you will have to carry your luggage with you, but sure beats sitting at the airport all day. Hope you can find somethng interesting to do, possibly an afternoon at a nice hotel before heading to the airport.

We did a post-cruise tour of Miami last summer. I can't say it was worth $30 since they dropped us off in South Beach for 3 hours...rather boring since we didn't want to sit on the beach. We just walked around...and had lunch. I remember that it was SO hot! The good thing was that they kept our luggage on the bus..then came back and picked us up and took us to the airport. I guess considering just a transfer to the airport cost $22, the $30 wasn't too bad for the chance to see South Beach and hold the luggage.

the excursion will not take up enough time--& with all the luggage it is a pesky problem maybe book a room for the day just to have a place for luggage & pool for kids!

I think booking the room is the way to go. I thought I had everything taken care off!! Any ideas out there for a hotel? Maybe one we could book to use the facilities near the airport?
