Default Western Carr. weather in mid-August

Does anyone know what the weather is usually like in the W. Carribbean in mid-August? Specifically I will be going to Key West, Gr Cayman, and Cozumel sailing Aug 17. Is it rainy, dry, really hot, etc... ? Thanks!

I think that high temperatures are not too bad (probably around 90 degrees Fahrenheit), but it tends to be very humid. August also is around the peak of hurricane season, so don't be too surprised your ship has to modify your itinerary to avoid one of them.

Norm.
