Default change in dining time

Just got my packet for June and found that our family was mistakenly assigned to the late seating. As we have a 2 yr old and 5 yr old with us that isn't acceptable. The cruise line said that its too late to correct it but told us to check with the maitre d our first evening and it"should not be a problem" Is this true or am i getting the runaround?Let's be honest, half the fun on the cruise is eating and we don't want to miss out on dinner in the main dining room. Anybody have this problem? Any suggestions about solving it? we don't want to eat in the alternative/casual room every night. Thanks

Sorry, but they always say check once on board ... the I think that unless you are onboard really early you may be out of luck.

I remind my travel agent frequently leading up to booking that we MUST have early seating.

You will be fine changing your time once you get on board, they will make every effort to make the customer happy. When you check in ask them what time you can go to the dinning room and change your time. Hope you have a great trip.

You will not have a problem changing from late to early seating. Alot of people want late seating. Go to the main dining room when you board the ship and talk to the maitre'd,he will change it. We were on the voyager over the summer and had late seating and switched to early seating and had no problem, we have three children and early seating worked better. Enjoy your cruise

After experiencing the late seating the first evening, we requested and received the early seating for the remainder of our cruise.

We always request early dining and even though a couple times we were assigned to late seating we have never had a problem getting it changed to early. Just go see the Maitre' D the first day, either right after boarding or at dinner that first night and they will accomodate you if at all possible and so far they always seem to come through.
