Don't recall specific charges but as you might assume, they are at the high end of the scale. We did 2 weeks without even needing the service while "down under" last year but would not have hesitated to spend the $ if we needed to do so.
I have just returned from a first cruise(Baltic Ports) on Grandeur of The Seas.
I too was concerned about laundry/cleaning costs. As luck would have it I spilt a
drink on my best pair of trousers and needed to have them cleaned !.
Cost about $6.00. The trousers came back cleaned better than new and with
sharper creases than ever.
The cost was less than I would have paid at home in Britain.
I thought the prices on our recent Mexico Cruise on the Vision of the Seas were quite reasonable. Comparable to local cleaners and laundries here in San Diego. And you get everything returned by 5:00 PM the next day if you leave the cleaning bag on your bed before you go to the evening meal.
Someone please help me... After I read this topic and showed it to my wife that there is no self service laundry aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship she wants to cancel our cruise next March. Can someone please tell me if there are any local laundry mats around the Port of Miami? We are going on the Explorer of the seas for a back to back cruise, an 14 days of clothing for three people is alot. (Honey just pack 10 suitcases... Oh my god my poor arms. lol)
