I am going on the Voyager in Sept and was just wondering about the drinking water on the ship. I know this topic was probably covered already but i drink a lot of water and don't want to get sick on my cruise. Should i bring my own bottled water on the cruise or is the water on the ship ok to drink.
Ship water especially on one of the most modern newly built ships is probably purer than you can get at home. I too drink a lot of water and buy Sparkling water in port. Bring your own wide mouth sports water bottle, fill with ice and tap water, and you will be all set.
When you drink the water on the ship, it is actually sea water that has been filtered to death. I have drank water off the ships alot and have never gotten sick. We usually take the water from the ship to fill our water bottles rather thenn buying the bottled water. I just don't see paying that much for bottled water.
I've been on 6 cruises with three different cruise lines and always drink the water on board. No problems ever. I do buy the cold bottled water the ship sells to passengers as they are leaving the ship on shore excursions. It is usually about $3.00 and iced so it is very cold. Big enough for 2 people or 1 person who drinks alot of H2O.
