Default short cruise...which ship??

Hi everyone..... We are thinking about a 3 or 4 day cruise either the end of november
or early december. We do not have enough time for a seven day cruise. Could some
one offer advice on which RCL ship would be the best??????? I know this is a very
general question but any suggestions would be helpful...... THANKS!

Lee and Kelli..

I looked on the Royal Caribbean website for you and it looks like you are limited to 2 ships if you sail for 4 nights in November. The choices are both for the Western Caribbean and they both stop in Cozumel and Key West.. Each ship looks like it takes a different route. One looks like it circles Cuba and the other is more of a straight shot towards Cozumel after you stop in Key west. I would suggest checking out the Royal Caribbean website and also maybe somebody here could suggest which of these 2 ship is better. I have not sailed RC so I don't know. Your choices of ships for the 4 night cruise in November are:
1. Brilliance of the seas
2. Enchantment of the seas
I'm sure either ship is going to be just fine. Enjoy it !

I should have mentioned that "Brilliance of the seas" is the newer ship. Maiden voyage in 2002. Enchantment has been sailing since 1997. I thought I would mention that in case it makes a difference to you.

I looked once more on the RC website and noticed that you have lots more options in november for the length of cruise you want if you sail on the Enchantment of the seas. Once again good luck and have fun.

I too am a new cruiser and much like you cannot do the 7 night/8day deal. So, I'm going on Sovereign of the Seas from 11/13-11/17-it's nice b/c it hits a weekend

Is Mexico on the west coast an option, if so the Monarch of the Seas. I'm going on two 4 nighters Dec. 1 and Dec.15,2003.

I too like to recommend the Enchantment. Sailed on her when she was doing 7 days and loved it. But if you like to check out a new ship the Brilliance is brand new and a short cruise would help to see if you like her or not. Have fun cruising!

I had been on the Brilliance on a 11-nighter. It's a beautiful ship. Go for this one. It's newer and has a nice nautical feel. I would jump on that ship anytime.
