Semi Submersable in Grand Caymen

Has anyone benn on this tour. How was it I am traveling with my 76 year old mother and handicapped brother, who needs a wheelchair for long distance walking I thought this might be good for all of us we can snorkle, they can check out the fish from the window. Please let me know Sept..20 cruise NOS thanks

If anyone does have any suggestions for tours that we can all go on that would be helpful Thanks

MY sisters and a nephew, who cruised with me this past February, took both the semi submersible and the 100 foot deep sub rides at Cozumel.

From the video, the semisub looks a lot like the Capt Nemo ride at Disney World. A somewhat elongated, steep stairway to get below the waterline. I have seen similar stairways on preserved WWII era submarines. Some folks might have a problem with that. However, there might be some provisions--perhaps disabled board first.

You might try to find the website for the operators of the subs and ask those questions directly. Or you might want to consider a glass-bottom boat as an alternative. The water is almost crystal clear, so the view would still be good. You just wouldn't have the bragging rights you would after a sub ride.

We took this in Cozumel...There is a great reef there & it was truly awesome. The guide was very knowledgeable & entertaining. Sorry but I do not see how it could be accessible from what I saw. You climb down steep, narrow stairs & sit on bench type seats (carpeted) to look out the windows. Did not see any lift or elevator.
