Default Am I too close to the engines?

I've booked category I on the Nordic Empress for February 2004, Western Carib. Besides the cheapness, I wanted to be as close to the bottom of the ship as possible to avoid seasickness. Now I'm nervous about hearing/feeling the engines. There's one deck between us and the engines, a crew deck. Could this be a problem? We can still switch to H, one deck above, with a $100 diff. if we stick with out cruise agent, but about the same price if we go with Expedia. Any advice is appreciated!

You should be fine. Why is Expedia $100 cheaper than your Travel Agent? You may want to see if Expedia beats the current prices you have for your room. Also, if you show your TA the Expedia price, they might be able to get you the higher Category room. In the end though, why not go with the higher category room if the price is the same?
