Default which cabin

Hi, this will be our first cruise, our 20th anniversary! NO KIDS! we are confused about the cabins, we are thinking of booking a balcony cabin, any info on how the ocean view or inside cabins are? We don't mind paying more, but at the same time would like to keep costs down (to spend on other things) how important is cabin size, view etc? we are looking at a Jan. 2004 sailing. Going to book next week, any ship better than another, We might take the new Mariner of the seas. Any advice or tips on cruising, ports of call, shore excursions. would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Marjie

Hi, having sailed on the Voyager with no kids and the Enchantment with kids as well as the Soveriegn, I would recoomend a balcony if its in your budget. If not, the atrium rooms are really neat for people watching. An oceanview is great too. we had one on the SOS, The Enchantment we had an inside and that was great too. They are all really nice. We opted for the balcony on the Voyager due to it being our 10 year anniversary. Friends of ours that we went with had the atrium room. No complaints. Depends on how much time you plan on spending in your cabin.

Busier itinerary=less time in room =don't spend much $ on room.

More sea days= more time in room=spend extra $ on balcony.

Now you have my 2 cents, Robbie
