Default Room on de back a' de boat

My wife and I are lining up a cruise on a Voyager class ship next year.My travel agant put a temp. hold on one of the rooms at the extreme aft end of the ship, overlooking the wake.My questions are 2: Are the balconies private on the back end of the ship(can the people above you see what you are doing?) and if anyone has stayed in one of these cabins, did you like it?
Many thanks for the assistance

We too have an aft balcony cabin booked on Voyager for next Feb. Had one earlier this year on Radiance, so I'm hoping they are very close. The balconies are huge, we had 2 lounge chairs, table and 2 regular chairs and still room to spare. If you went to the end of the balcony and people were out looking over their balcony above, you could see them, but they could only see a very small part of your balcony. They are a little tiered, but nothing like the side balconies on Grand/Golden Princess which I didn't care for.

I loved having the cabin on back, go ahead and give it a try??

yes they are tiered...also one thing to consider is that it is a long walk from the closest elevator or stairs to the back cabins...just sometning to consider..
