Majesty Superior Oceanview

My wife and I are booked in August aboard the Majesty of the Seas. We have a Superior Oceanview cabin on Deck 9. Just wondering if anybody has stayed in one of these cabin and give us a little more insight as to what it is like. How is the view? Do the lifeboats obstruct the view? Is there a safe and/or a refrigerator in the cabin? Is the bathroom even big enough to change your mind in?

We have sailed on the Majesty a number of times. We always book a cabin on the 9th deck. The cabins are larger than the regular oceanview cabins. They are still not large, but they are comfortable. The cabins have a safe and a refrigerator. The bathroom is fine.

Thanks, TootsieBell. One other question -- do the windows slide open to let outside air in?

I don't believe that you can open the porthole windows.

Have a great cruise. It is an older ship, but the staff and crew are great.

Tootsiebell - is there really a fridge in the cabins on Deck 9 of the Majesty? I can't find one mentioned any where on deck plans!

Unless they have removed them since December 2003, there is a refrigerator. I know because I put my left over fruit from room service in one. Also, my husband made a mistake, and put all the sodas in it to get them off the counter, and we didn't even realize that we were charged for them until after we left the ship.
