Re: Ultra-Voyager

Does anyone else find it hard to believe that a ship that huge will soon be sailing the seas? It blows me out of the water and makes me curious!

Karen, The ships will just be getting bigger as time goes Carnival has said they want to build an 180,000 ton ship (Hopefuly they wont look like the rest of the fleet).

Re: Ultra-Voyager

The new issue of Porthole mentions Carnival's plans for the Ultimate Caribbean Princess at 170 to 180,000 tons and that it could change lines by the time it is launched. What ever brand it sails under, I'm gonna try it out if I get the chance!

Re: Re: Ultra-Voyager

All one has to do is look at past issue's of Cruise Travel magazine and see artists renderings of what future ships may look like but the Ultra Voyager will be only the beginning of the first of new builds that will give way to other bigger ships in the future.

I still would like to see a ship built on a grand scale that has a twin hull like the
Radisson Diamond or a ship built alone the lines of an aircraft carrier and could
transit the Panama Canal.
