Why is the Ultra-Voyager not as wide as the original?
Does anybody know RCI's reasoning for making the Ultra-Voyager 126 ft. wide versus the 157.5 width of the original Voyager-class. Is this an error? Since the vessel is even 4 decks taller, you would think that it would even be wider.
Re: Why is the Ultra-Voyager not as wide as the original?
The Voyager is 126ft wide as well. 157.5ft is the maximum width (longer due to the bridge wings)
The vessel is not 4 decks taller, this is an error.... because it includes all the decks (inc. below sea level) instead of only the passenger decks (15 decks).
Re: Why is the Ultra-Voyager not as wide as the original?
So does this mean that all cruise ships, even the ones that are 105 feet wide really are not that wide in reality? Does this mean that the 105 ft. length of most mega-ships is at the max? What is the real width of ships in the passenger areas then?
I never thought that the bridge wings totaled to over 25 ft. in length.
