Default Concierge for room--what does that mean?

We are going on the Radiance of the Seas next November and looking at a C class room and were told we have a concierge for the room--what does that mean?

Concierge is a personal servant who will book the excursions for you, bring you extra wine glasses, clean up after you, arrange babysitting services, procure snacks for the room, etc.

I've never had one personally but if I ever hit the lottery I'll try it.

Regards,
Thomas

Also, concierge's don't bring you extra wine glasss or clean up after you. That might be better addressed by your cabin attendant. Concierge services include reservations to alternative dining venues, ice show tickets on Voyager class vessels, priority debarkation tags, hard to book excursions, etc. They are not your personal servants, however.

Anyone in a B suite or higher and Diamond Level C&A members are entitled to use the concierge services.

The concierge service used to be available to C cabins. Was dropped for them last year I think. That might be the source of your information.

If you drink, a money saving aspect of the concierge service is the open bar from around 5 - 8 or 9 each evening. Decent wines and good liquors as well as beer and soft drinks and snacks

I've been told that there is no concierge room or service on Vision class ships. We are sailing for the first time on the Splendour in late December and we have an AA cabin. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!
