Gratuity

On Royal Caribbean do they automatically add all gratuity like they do on most Carnival ships? Or do you need to have tip money available to stuff in envelopes for the last night of the cruise? Do they include the Head Waiter or Maitre'D? Do they add an automatic 15% on to drinks you order at the pool or a bar? And do they add an automatic tip to room service? Thanks

A 15% gratuity is add to all drink/bar bills at the time of service. You can have the tips added to your SeaPass account or you can pay in cash, your choice, the exception is room service which is not automatically added and is cash when service is delivered.

I like the voucher system "RCI" uses since it is added to my charge account and I don't need to carry extra cash. Pax needs to request this via form delivered to room and you get vouchers to put in the envelopes (which allows you to add $ for any extra service you might have received).
