Default Galveston's Dolphin Parking Lot

I've read the Dolphin Parking Lot in Galveston is the way to go instead of the normal cruise parking. Problem is, I can't find out where it is and how to get there. We know the "back" way to the pier to avoid the traffic and plan on using it. Any suggestions on how to get to the Dolphin Lot? Thanks in advance!

If you are coming in on the ferry, you'll go past the ship terminal ( on Harbourside Dr.) and it will be on the left. There are signs everywhere. We used this lot back in June. They took us and our luggage to the ship. Same on the return. If you are coming in from Houston, it will be on the right, just past the offficial lot. I will use this lot again in March when we sail the Splendour. Hope this helps.
