Default Transportation to Port Canaveral

Eight of us will be flying into Orlando the day before our May 2 cruise on Mariner. Can anyone make a recommendation for best way to get to Radisson at Port Canaveral?
We have discussed using a Limo, however, we will have way too much luggage to fit into it. What do you suggest? Thanks for your help!

Check with Mears transportation. They run shuttle vans and buses back and forth. have never used them but they are on the roads constantly. They are the firm Disney uses so must be good.

Avis has a car rental location at the Radisson in Port Canaveral. You can rent a large van or a couple of mid size cars more inexpensively than paying the per person price for the Mears shuttle. We have sailed out of Canaveral 2 times and this is the way we went. Its about an hour ride from the airport to the port area. You will also be able to use the vehicle(s) for getting around if needed as their is not much going on (shopping/restaurants) in the immediate area near the hotel. Avis also will shuttle you to the port free of charge.

I think probably a rental is your best bet, cost wise. Ports like Canaveral and Galveston are so far from their commercial airports(Orlando and Houston), that transportation to and from them is like purchasing an excursion twice for each person.

I recommend

Bayhill Transportation
P. O. Box 590492
Orlando, FL 32859

They have limos and vans, friendly and competitively priced. Tell them I referred you!
