Default Question Vision of the Seas

I am scheduled to cruise the Vision on 2/15/04 to the Mexican Riviera. I was curious to see if any one could tell me if the pools on this ship are fresh or salt water?

I was also told that this ship was remodeled early 2003 is that true?

Any responses and especially those that have been on the ship recently would help.

Hi Billy,
Yep, the pools are salt water, not sure when she was last in dry dock, hopefully someone will know the answer to that.

Vision class is great -- the Solarium pool is still my favorite feature

Vision was in San Francisco drydock in March of 2003. I sailed on her the week prior to drydock. This was her normal every five year mandatory according the the captain.

Vision - 1/11/04
Mercury - 4/11/04

Just got off the Vision on Sunday, and my impression was that it looked a bit shabby. I thought that it needed to go into dry dock! For example, the carpets in the elevators looked dirty and worn. Our cabin (while well laid out) seemed faded and "droopy".

Service was good and food was acceptable. Nice to be on the beach with 85+ weather over Thanksgiving!
