Monarch of the Seas in late January
We've tentatively booked a deluxe balcony suite on the Monarch of the Seas for my family -- myself, wife/mom and 2-16.5 year-olds -- for a 4 night cruise in late January. My only real concern is the weather. As an Angelino, I know It can be pretty chilly on land at this time of year and wonder about temperature difference on the water. Also, if weather is inclement, do you think there is enough "inside" activities to keep everyone occupied and happy?

Re: Monarch of the Seas in late January
Baruch, just expect chilly temperatures in San Diego and Cataline (mid-60s). Ensenada is usally a little bit warmer.
I think you will enjoy it, and I know the rates in January are about the cheapest you will see all year long for the 4-nighters. Harry |

My wife and I are going on the Monarch on the 4 day in January 26th I see what the weather is like and look at the onboard activites. however my wife and I are kinda quiet old 30 somethings and like to relax and do nothing but relax. Enjoy Robert & Lisa |
Re: Monarch of the Seas in late January
Have been in almost every month during the years, and the Monarch will have plenty to do, especially if there is inclement weather, they will plan even more things to keep people busy.
We were onboard her in Sept. and the ship is done very nicely. Enjoy Cher |
