100 Shares of RCL stock for shpboard credit - Who takes adva

I just looked into the advantage of buying 100 shares of RCL/Celebrity stock in returm for shipboard credits on the website. This is a nice perk.

Who out there takes advantage of this?

Can someone give me some insight on this?

Are there any stipulations, etc.?

I also bought some earlier this year and will take advantage of it next Feb...we should have a shipboard credit of $50 each, so that is a nice perk, much better than the Royal Caribbean credit card which I also took out, but will take forever to take advantage of any perks. Will let you all know how this credit really worked...I sent all the info in and at this point I have nothing in writing about getting the credit, but I was told I would be, we will see??

We received the shipboard credit on Galaxy this past October. The amount depends on how long the sailing. It can be used on as many cruises you like as long as they are booked by March 31, 2004, and the proof of stock purchase and form are sent to the proper cruise-line. Might I suggest if you decide to purchase the stock and send in the information to do with a signed receipt. It is referred to as the "Shareholders Discount".
At present we have 3 other bookings on RCCL and Celebrity. We will receive on-board credit for each sailing hopefully. Read the bottom of the form with the provided link, that is another stipulation.
You can receive $50 to $250 credit per stateroom.

Yes it works like a charm. We just took advantage of it on our November sailing aboard the Voyager of the Seas in November. You do have to fax the form and a copy of your share holdings from your brokerage company. We will be using it again in Feb for our sailing aboard the Adventure of the Seas. Buying the stock is the only stipulation. It shows up on your final bill as a credit. Bon Voyage!

How is the stock doing? Maybe we will all become owners & show up at the Bd meeetings!

Now isn't that a scary thought! :0) Us at a board meeting!!!! Stock is doing great but then it depends when you bought in. It has had it's ups and downs.....but even in a bull market has done GREAT for me! It is on the Nasdaq and the ticker symbol is RCL.

We used in on the Century in July 2003 and will use in it again on the Adventure of the Seas in March 2004. Not to bad a dividend in one year. It 's also nice to read-up on the company in the annual share holders report.

Thanks everyone...I'm selling off my deadbeat stock and buying my 100 shares. I did go on the website and found the form that explains everything.

I'm already booked for May and Oct 2004 and Jan 2005. So I will have a lot of faxing to do.
