Default Specialty Restaurants

I will be on the Mariner in April. Both Chops and Portifino's are available on this ship. My husband really enjoys good filet mignon. I prefer seafood such as lobster, crab, shrimp or scallops. Which restaurant would best fit both of our desires best. This question is more for someone who has experienced both restaurants... If you could pick just one of these two restaurants to dine in during your cruise which one would you pick? and why? Which one is more formal.
Thanks Libby

Do both! Enjoy your vacation. Why skimp? The food in the specialty restaurants blows away the meals in the main dining room. They are both excellent. If you must choose I guess it depends on who is more passionate about there food.

We ate at Chops on the Navigator in September, delicious! The menu had steaks and also Lobster.........so you can both enjoy! I also had a shrimp cocktail and my husband had some Oysters that was VERY good. We did not try Portofinos but I saw a lot of seafood on the menu, no steaks.

Go and enjoy, well worth it!
