We're trying to decide whether to take the Serenade, HALs Volendam, or Celebrity's Infinity to Alaska (Inside Passage RT from Vancouver).
Boy, such tuff decisions to make ....
1) HAL Volendam:
2) Celebrity Infinity:
3) RCI Serenade of the Seas:
Hubbard Glacier/Skagway/Juneau/Ketchikan/Misty Fjords
This will be our first cruise to ALaska. I'm 57, wife 47, ... we're not
party animals and we don't drink alot or smoke. We like the shows, some dancing, ...lounging in the Hot Tub, Sightseeing, SHopping, and aren't really into dressing up.
Definately want great service & good food, but we're not into Caviar if you
know what I mean.
Which would you choose??
I'm having a hard time gauging the ambiance of the three ships,
1) + Glacier Bay, - Older Ship,
2) + T Pools
3) + Newer Ship
Does the HAL and Serenade have heated pools / spas where my wife and I can
go to relax like the T Pool on the Infinity?
Does the Glacier Bay stop on HAL outweigh any advantages that the Serenade
or Infinity might have?
PS Also, if we decide on Serenade, which Cabins w/ balcony should we be trying to get?
