Default transfers & hotel orlando vs port canaveral

We'll be going on Mariner in a few months. Our first RCCL cruise. Wel'll be arriving on Friday for the Sunday cruise and are wondering if we should stay at a hotel in Orlando or Port Canaveral? Suggestions for transfers from the airport to hotel or port would be appreciated too. Has anyone stayed at the Radisson in Port Canaveral? There will be 11 of us.

I am cruising on the Mariner on the ninth of May, and we are staying in PortConaveral (Radisson). We purchased a transfer through RCCL, that will take us from our hotel to the ship in orlando on the date of sail. You may enjoy this as you will be able to fit all 11 of you on the same bus, allowing you to arrive at the same time and not have to worry about being in different cars! enjoy your cruise and have fun!
