A group of us are cruising in March on the Adventurer out of San Juan. We booked our own flights and are coming in a day early.
Since the hotel we are staying at has a checkout time of 11:00 we were wondering if there is a place to stash our luggage until we can board the boat.
Does RCCL have a place or allow it at the terminal?
Or is there another solution that someone has used?
BTW this would / could also apply to the return, our flight doesn't leave out until the early evening.
Hey Chuck, I was thinking of doing the same thing. But......I hadn't thought about what to do when I left the hotel. I know when I went on Princess, we arrived and were swept right onto the bus and over to the terminal hours before we sailed and they took care of our bags right away.
We are traveling aboard th Adventure in approximately two weeks and as well are going in two days early. What we plan to do is board the ship stash our luggage in our room and then get off to explore if needed. The ship doesn't sail until 10 pm but boarding will begin in the morning and the ship will be open as usual (like at sea) but just not leaving the port until 10pm. Hope this helps give you ideas. Bon Voyage
We researched this same thing a year ago when we went out of SJ on the Radiance. No RCI storage options, but a place in town, La Barrachina , which is a restaurant / shop will store yourt luggage for you. They have an area secure and setup for this and have been doing it for years. Great folks there and no charge to do - don't even have to eat there. They are the supposed birthplace of the Pina Colada. Just give the guy a nice tip and it'll be appreciated. Worked out greta for us on our return, as we had a few hours to burn before our flight back to Atlanta.

We stayed at the Caribe HIlton in San Juan the night before the cruise. They informed us on check in they would hold our luggage for us until we go ready to leave the next day. We started boarding around 1:00 in the afternoon.
