Default sea passes

I hear that you have to take your sea pass when you leave the ship while on their private island. i was wondering do they give you a string that you could tie it and hang it around your neck? if not do you hear of people stealing the sea pass while on an shore excursion? Any information would be a big help.

Yes Shelby,
You'll need to take your sign/sail card with you everytime you get off the ship and back on. They can also punch a hole and you can wear it around your neck. There are also waterproof pouches you can buy in the ships's gift shop if you want to use one of those. Its also your cabin key and you'll need it for any onboard purchases, its basically a cashless society while onboard. Only cash you'll need would be for the casino and tipping.

we took that cruise last year and I bought a waterproof case on a lanyard to put around my neck. the case was a little bigger than the pass. I bought it in one of the shops on the ship for about $5.

I bought one of those boxes on my second cruise and it has become my daytime purse when we are on a cruise. I can fit my money, credit card, id & sea pass inside along with a lip stick. It all hangs neatly around your neck or you can loop it onto a belt loop, It's got a locking mechanism on it so it won't fly open and it's waterproof. I love mine!
