How are the pillows on the Mariner? Are they the standard motel paper thin ones? Would you recommend bringing your own? Can you get extra pillows from your room steward?

Yes, if you need more pillows, just ask. With the weight restrictions on luggage and flying these days, I woldn't want to bring along an extra pillow, just ask, shouldn't be a problem.
