Default Splendour balcony question

Hi,
My husband just booked us on the Splendour in an aft junior suite and I have a question regarding the balcony .
This will be our first time with a balcony & I was wondering if there is plexi-glass in front of the railings? We booked our children ages 4, 9 & 11 in an inside across the hall but I am sure they will be spending most of their time in our stateroom. The verandah has me a little nervous with the 4 year old.
If anybody has any info, I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

I remember there was a plexi glass railing, but that was absolute back. I remember the glass is pretty tall, above my waist (medium height individual). If you are at the absolute back, then your kids cabins will be down the hall and your balcony will be a good size. If it is any reasurance, the door is not easy to open (it's sliding, but with a handle you have to turn). Also some of those cabins, have a sofa bed (if your children want to spend the night). The sofa bed is a double bed. Other than that it is a really nice cabin.

Del,

Thanks so much for the info. I feel much more reassured now.
I just looked at the deck plans and the cabin our TA got us is at the absolute back, so now
I'm really excited!

Thanks again!
