Anyone Sail Serenade 1/31 to 2/7??

I am booking this cruise next year (2/5 to 2/12) and was wondering about pricing. If you do not mind, can you tell me what you paid for the cruise and the air and where you flew from.

Reason I am asking is because I am being told by my TA that the cruise will be $2300 (E1 room) and the air from NY will be $400 per person. Want to know if anyone got it cheaper closer to the cruise or if those numbers look correct.

I sailed on the Serenade this past January, and the cheapest I could find airfare from Indianapolis was for $400 on ATA. That is the only drawback to sailing out of SanJuan. Also if you check on Cruise.com, they show an E1 category room to cost $2294, but then they give you a $160 online booking discount . Fare is $2134. They have some rooms on deck 10 available, but I would avoid booking the rooms they show on deck 7. The rooms on deck 7 that they show have funny shaped and small balconies. One of the people in our group stayed in them, and I feel they got a little jipped.

I was on the Serenade in January. I rebooked from the ship and got an E3 for my second week, Jan 24 which cost about $3000 so $2300 for an E1 sounds about right. My airfare from NY was $641 round trip for two people. Maybe you could keep your eye open for price changes to see if you can get something cheaper. Have fun.
