How many times is Grand Cayman missed during November?

We're booked on the Enchantment for November 13 and one of our ports of call is Grand Cayman. I've heard lots of people say they didn't get to go there because of weather. Does anyone know when it is most likely to miss Grand Cayman? How many times is Grand Cayman missed during November? Is there some way to find out? Have you ever missed Grand Cayman during November? We're really looking forward to swimming with the string rays and would hate to miss it. What are our chances?

I'm afraid there's no real schedule. Sea conditions vary year round.

MOST ships do manage to make their GC stop, but it's all a decision based on safety of the passengers.

We booked the Sting Ray City on our cruise last year in November, and we didn't get to dock because of the weather, but when we were on the cruise, I talked to a couple of people who never experienced such bad weather, and they had taken the same cruise for a few years in a row. It's a toss up really.

Our Thanksgiving cruise stopped at Gr. Cayman even with rough seas. That was one of the milder days. The worst times would most likely be hurricane season which ends in September. There are always storms year round that screw things up, but I think November is a pretty safe month for getting to go ashore.

We missed in Jan 04 and my friend just got back from a Feb 04 cruise and they missed GC too....

We've cruised several times in Nov. , tho not 2003, and always made our
stop in GC. Cockatoo Catamaran is a great shore excursion to Sting Ray
City..would highly recommend it.
