The Quest is a lot of fun - don't miss it if they play on your ship. It has been played on the three ships that we have been on but from what I have read it just depends on who the cruise director is on your sailing. I hope this helps!
Majesty of the Seas had it last Sept. The particpants seemed to be having fun. I occassionally chuckled at their antics but I was a bit concerned about trying to get out of my lounge chair during the game for "fear" that one of the participants would run me over in their zeal. The CD in charge was constantly telling them to slow down & not run. Just be careful if you play or watch.
I don't think it's really considered a Scavenger Hunt. But we played something like that on a our cruise a few years ago. Like whoever was wearing a red bra had to run up and show it to get points. Whoever had a cool tatoo had to run up and show it. It was pretty neat. But like I said, that was a few years ago. So I'm not real sure.
They had The Quest on SOS last February (2003). It was in the main lounge and was particularly good that time. Then again last month on Mariner. This was in the large Studio B and I think it lost something due to that. Still hilarious, though. Believe it or not, some people came prepared with items and were actually cheating. For a keychain.
I was just on the Enchantment in October and the Monarch the previous year. They both have the "Quest". Don't miss it, it's hilarious. We had the best cruise director and that can make all the difference. Have fun!
