Default Pre-cruise lodging

We have sailed out of Port Canaveral twice and stayed at the Radisson both times, choosing them because of their shuttle service to and from the port. We will sail from Port Canaveral again in August, but I'd like to stay someplace less expensive, but I do like the shuttle service. I know the Radisson's is dependable. Has anyone stayed at other motels, etc. which offered a shuttle service. Also, my daughter, her husband, and little boy are going with us and I'd like to stay closer to the ocean. Any recommendations or advice will be helpful. We will be staying two nights this time instead of just the night before the cruise.

Try doing searches through hotel websites. I found a great rate in Titusville but not sure about the shuttle service. This will allow you to get a couple of different rates. I got a room for $55 and its at the beginning of spring break.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Cocoa Beach last month before we sailed. It was great. The rooms had recently been redone and were very clean. The staff was great as well. They provide free shuttle service to the ship, and do have cruise deals. We would also recommend going to dinner at Florida's Seafood Restaurant if you reall want to get your money's worth and have a great meal.
