We will be sailing for 4 nights...... is the $64 spread amongst the people you should tip or is that person person that is with you while on your vacation?

it comes out to like $9 per person per day (covers main waiter, asst waiter, cabin steward) so however many people are in your party, just figure $9 for each person times however many nights you are on. for example party of two would be $18 (9 for each person) times 4 nights, which equals $72

Here is a great "Tipping Calculator" I found. Very handy to print and take with you.

We have always tipped the recommended amount. If we find someone who is above the norm in service we tip extra.

I always put my tip money in a seperate envelope before sailing. We have added money over the years to our waiter and asst waiter, if they when out of their way and not because of the 'speech' on the next to last night.

I might also mention that on our last cruise (Celebrity), we tipped our wine stewart and the waitress from the bar who seemed to always be around when we needed her throughout the ship. I know that a service charge is added to bar tabs, but, these ladies went out of their way to be nice. They really appreciated our thoughtfullness.
