Hi.....i went on my first cruise last summer on the Carnival Sensations. I enjoy it so much, i book another cruise this summer on the RCI Mariners of the Sea. I heard so much about voyager class ships but want to hear some advice about what to expect on these large ships. Any tips will be much appreciated....thanks in advance....
The Marnier is a wonderful ship and a totally different experience than the Sensation - twice the size and less of the over-the-top decor of Carnival. The good thing is with the layout of the ship, it doesn't seem crowded at all. One thing not to miss, even if you are not normally in to it is the ice show ... pretty amazing at sea. Hope you have a great cruise!
NCL Sun, Oasis OTS, Navigator OTS, Legend, Fascination, Emerald, Glory, Mariner OTS x 2, Sovereign OTS, Celebration, Miracle x 2, Pride, Fantasy
We sailed on the Sensation last fall with a group (the only reason you'd get
me on the Sensation) Had a ball with our friends, but the ship is ugly, ugly,
purple walls, not that clean...service was good however, especially dining room.
Booked on the Mariner (have done several RCI and Celebrity cruises) on
April 11th...and will expect the usual excellent RCI cruise...my first time on
V class ship..booked it especially for our grandaughter who will be joining
us. We're looking forward to the experience of a V class ship.
Anyone else that week?
We were on the Navigator of the Seas last April and had a wonderful time, the thing we were amazed at was, Where was everyone? 3100 people onboard and at times you thought there the ship was half filled. It is a huge ship, The promanade is wonderful, it's like walking down a small town street with shops, bars, eatery on a cobblestone road. You don't even realize that you are on a ship, There is so much to do, Ice skating shows and free skating yourselves, rock-climbing, mini golf and so much more. You will have a blast. We are on the Mariner on May 2nd. Can't wait !
