Special diet?

I know, I know! Diet on a cruise? Well I can't afford to gain another pound. I am currently on a Low carb diet. Although probably my will, will not be very strong I want to give it at least a 1/2 a day shot. Would it show a lack of class to ask for a special plate in the dining room? Do you actually order off of a menu? As you can tell I am a first time cruiser. I also can't wait. 22 days and counting until I board the Navigator.

Hi Pj,
Yes, you'll be ordering off a menu. Each evening they offer a low cal menu as well, plus give their suggestions, you should have no problem, just your will power.

Beware, the dessert menu is to die for.

You'll have no problem managing your low Carb diet. I am on a low carb diet and cruise every year without gaining. I do allow a few cheats for dessert but the menu is so varied you can get what you need.
I do bring some nuts with me for between meal munching. Room service can also bring cheese plates.
Have a great time.
