Why no Voyager class ships at longer cruises?

Hi,

Last week I was on the VOS for a 7 nights W-Caribbean cruise. I'd like to book a next cruise to Hawaii or Australia. Unfortunately RCCL don't use the Voyager Class ships at that itineraries. There are 4 or more seadays at these cruises, and it's really pity that RCCL are using the Legend of the Seas at such cruises.

Why don't they use the bigger ships? And is the Legend of the Seas worth the money to book that sort of long distance cruises at RCCL? Or do we have to book at HAL for better ships to Hawaii of Australia?

These ships were speciffically designed for the 7 day Carribbean cruises which yields a specific profit margin based on 52 trips per year. The VOS I believe will be coming to the Northeast (New York) this year. This ship couldn't be relocated to the west coast very economically due to the fact that it is too wide to go through the panama canal.

The price of fuel for those Voyager class ships is much higher than the smaller ships. Not profitable.
