I cruised the 3-1-04 sailing to Nassau, CocoCay, and Key wEst. You can order whatever you want for dinner, and if you don't like it, you can order something else. Or, if you want 2 different entrees, order them both. Try different appetizers, and if you don't like them, you can order another! I think almost every dessert was fantastic! As they stated above, the steak on this cruise wasn't up to par. If you have some specific questions, e-mail me.

As all the other posters said...try EVERYTHING. What better place to try new things, than on a cruise ship? If you don't like what you tried, you are not out a lot of money for the meal. You can order something else. I tried escargo for the first time on a cruise and now its become a tradition for me to order it every time. I only eat one of two of them, but its kind of fun to order them anyway. It makes me feel so...so...cultured!

When the 4 of us traveled recently on "Explorer", there was NO bad food in the dining room! We all ordered different things, and it was all wonderful! I can't say as much for the Windjammer Cafe -- quality there was uneven. Not only was the dining room food sensational, the wait-people were pretty darn entertaining as well!
I just returned from EOS (April 26-May 1), and thought the lamb was so-so, the prime rib excellent, and the duck l'orange to die for!!! As is typical RCCL fashion, none of the desserts caught my tastebuds (they just weren't rich tasting enough - they all seemed to lack a certain flair and deepness of flavor), except for the bananas flambe' - that was REALLY REALLY GOOD!!
If you don't like something, you can order something else. One of our tablemates was a regular in ordering 2-3 of the appetizers, 1-2 entrees, and 1-3 desserts at each dinner. And I never had a bad bottle of wine - all ranging from Shiraz, to Chianti, to Merlot.
