Default bringing on alcohol

Being a Napa Valley wino, want to know the in's and out's of bringing on wine. Have no problem paying the corkage, just want to be able to bring on my wine. What about other alcohol? Do you have to sneak it on??
Thanks for the help~ were going on the Mariner of the Sea on July 4th

We did not bring anything with us when we originally boarded, but at Cozymel my husband picked up some interesting Mexican beer he wanted to try...he just bought it and put it in my carry-all when we boarded the ship. No one said a thing.

Tip : If you sneak some in.....bring alcohol in apple juice jars or just buy some airline tiny bottles at the liquor store and put it in your luggage. It will be delivered to your room later that night!! First night of course!

We plan on bringing a couple of Maggies homemade wine to enjoy some nights.
We also will bring one of our favorite liquors - Irish Mist, and maybe a bottle of Rum. I read that it's a good idea to disguise the liquor, so we've been using a lot of mouthwash these days (to save the bottles). And of course we will use the bars too, no doubt!

We have always packed large amounts of wine and vodka in our luggage / carry-on / backpack and have never had a problem. Every cabin attendant has been more than happy to bring us ice and champage glasses for some bubbly on the balcony. Room for beer and such in fridge. Have fun!

Dear Winowoman,
We have cruised 3 times and have brought 1-3 bottles of wine to enjoy in our cabin. We
pack them in our checked baggage. No problems on Carnival or RCCL.
