Does anyone out there have some of the menus for Mariner? I've only been on one cruise Carn. Victory. food was perfect. And I'm so picky that I have been know several time to take back cold fries. through drive thrus. Also what choices are there at the fancier paying restruants? By the way been to JR's in Myrtle Beach, not worth all the fuss.
I just got off the Mariner and the food was fine. There is always "regular" food available if nothing on the menu suits you. You are right that JR's is not worth the fuss not to mention the extra expense. It cost me $16 for 2 burgers and 2 malts. ripoff!!!

Mon-Rack of Lamb
Tues-Beef Tenderloin
Wed-some sort of seafood pasta...penne somthing
Thu-Shrimp scampi
Fri-Surf and Turf (i altered it to 2 surfs and no turf)
Sat-Pasta alfredo w/ clams
It was all good. Desserts were really good. And they had an alternative selection if nothing suited you. You could always get a chicken breat or plain steak if you wanted. Also offered a vegetarian dish as an entree each night.
