Default Hotels in Miami

Booked a cruise on Radiance Jan 30, flying in Miami the day before and need to find a inexpensive hotel for the night not too far from the port. Have any suggestions?

You may want to give Priceline a call and look for hotels in the downtown Miami, 3 stars...I got Radisson for $50 in Feb, it was well worth the money...

Any suggestions that don't not involve using Priceline?-we prefer to pick out our own hotel-- We are looking for modest , clean & convenient not a major resort hotel as it is just for overnight & dinner.

Dear HCAT
I was leary also about using priceline or anyother site with a cc but oh is it well worth it.
Some of those less expensive hotel didn't look very clean. We went with a group and the group stayed at Days Inn we stayed at the Radisson. They paid more for their rooms and were very dissatified.

Really, don't be leary about using Priceline. Stay away from the Clarion. Go for the Radisson, the Hyatt or the Holiday Inn.

We used Priceline for a one-night stay prior to our cruise in January. I bid $35, and got the Hyatt Regency near Bayside Marketplace. If you bid a high enough star level, you are assured of getting a good hotel.
