Any suggestions that don't not involve using Priceline?-we prefer to pick out our own hotel-- We are looking for modest , clean & convenient not a major resort hotel as it is just for overnight & dinner.
I was leary also about using priceline or anyother site with a cc but oh is it well worth it.
Some of those less expensive hotel didn't look very clean. We went with a group and the group stayed at Days Inn we stayed at the Radisson. They paid more for their rooms and were very dissatified.
We used Priceline for a one-night stay prior to our cruise in January. I bid $35, and got the Hyatt Regency near Bayside Marketplace. If you bid a high enough star level, you are assured of getting a good hotel.
