I was on the Navigator last year and saw the Ice Show. I have previously been to Stars on Ice and Champions on Ice.
I honestly didn't think the Ice Show was all that great. Does anyone else agree with me? Am I expecting too much?
Everyone on this message board brags up the ice-show so much, but I was a bit disapointed. Anyone else?
Also, does anyone know how often they change these shows?
I think everyone gets more excited about an ice show on a ship rather than the show itself. As for me, I enjoyed the show, but have to agree with you that it wasn't as fantastic as everyone made it seem. Never the less, it was enjoyable and peopel should try to see it.
As compared to other entertainment you find on a ship, I thought this was excellent. I actually saw the ice show on Navigator twice when I was on board last Oct. Granted though, it isn't quite the caliber of Stars on Ice, but none the less, a very good show.
I loved the ice show on the Navigator. Think about it: the rink is small and moving. For what they had, it was amazing!!!!!!!!

I too was on the Mariner and saw the circus themed ice show(libby, I think we sailed together/4/4/04)and my son got to be in it. Like I said above, I think it seems much nicer because of the novelty of an ice show at sea. Same sort of theory as something always seems nicer if it is free, or food always tastes better if its free. Ice shows are always better if they are out of the ordinary. I will agree that it was one of the better shows of my sailing(Bowzer was horrible)
