Can anyone share what differences there might be between the Thalassotherapy pools on the Celebrity Millenium class ships versus the Solarium pools on the RCL ships? We just got off Summit, and loved this type of pool. Looking at future possibilities, and didn't want to count RCL out.
Mrs.Sid here! My favorite part of a Millennium class cruise is the T-pool. The only like comparitive is that the water is warm and the area is dome covered. On Celebrity, this area is supposed to be for adults only. The waters are treated with minerals and relaxing theraputic chemicals. The lounges are teak and there is an Aqua Spa cafe for great spa cuisine. The piped in music is soft and relaxing to sooth the mind as well as the body. The dome may be opened on RCI and kids may rule the area. However, it is a nice spot to get away from the hot sun as it is airconditioned and the windows do open near the tables and lounges that are along the outside walls. I did enjoy the pool on Legend of the Seas. I would not just book the cruise for this pool. RCI is a decent product just slightly different and it attracts more families and younger couples. We are looking at the Mariner for our next journey and we just returned from Millie (14th. cruise).
