The Promenade Deck is the jogging/walking deck. (I think - at lwast it is on the Sovereign). It means that you'll have to keep your curtains closed if you want some privacy, and your view will be more of the deck than the ocean. Anyone??

The promenade is where the stores and parades are on the Voyager Class ships, seemed like a very noisey place when we were on the Navigator last week.

I was in cabin 8597 on the voyager and loved it. The noise level was low if any. the "view" was the jewelry store. I would recommend to any one.

We stayed in a cabin on the Promenade on the Voyager 3 years ago. I thought it was great. I enjoyed sitting at the window and looking down at all the people. Esp. on formal nights. We had the late dinner seating so while we were getting dressed you could look out at all the beautiful dresses. Do keep your curtains pulled though because people can see right in!

Oops - my fault. Sounds like an Atrium cabin. Curtains closing is the same, though.

Just had a Promenade or Atrium stateroom on the Mariner and LOVED it! It was a LOT of fun people watching. We were on deck 7, so we could look up and see other people across from us and down and see people across from us. We left our curtains open the entire cruise. That was FUN.
