Default Shipboard Credit for Shareholders

Everybody,

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE: RCL), the parent company of both Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean International, has just announed extension of the company's shipboard credit for passengers who own one hundred (100) or more shares of the parent company for all cruises booked by 01 May 2005. The shipboard credit ($50 on each cruise of five or fewer nights, $100 on each cruise of six to eight nights, $200 on cruise each of nine to thirteen nights, and $250 on each cruise of fourteen or more nights) is fully combinable with all other offers. this offer does not apply to "Celebrity Xpeditions" cruises and tours.

To receive the credit, you must submit a separate copy of the credit form (http://media.corporate-ir.net/media_...r_Benefit2.pdf) with proof of ownership of at least one hundred shares of stock for each cruise. A brokerage statement showing the shares in your brokerage account satisfies the requirement for proof of ownership.

See the company's "Shareholder FAQ" (http://media.corporate-ir.net/media_...older_faqc.pdf) for more information.

Norm.

Well, it is about time. Carnival Corp has had this benefit for years.

John,

Well, it is about time. Carnival Corp has had this benefit for years.

I posted the original notice on this board about a year ago. Sorry if you missed it.

In any case, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE: RCL) probably will continue this offer as long as Carnival Corporation continues it.

Norm.
